Not the most enjoyable night spent in a hotel.

The room's equipment and facilities were in good order. Breakfast was most enjoyable. I reported the noisy machine at reception in the morning and it was immediately passed on to maintenance for action. All staff I met were polite and efficient

I was allocated to a disability room, (206) when I don't have the need for it, so depriving a disabled traveller of the facility. The room is very basic, but does not have the space to manouvre a wheelchair beside the bed, on either side. My night was disturbed by a noisy motor / pump in the ceiling just outside the door. This machine ran until around 02:30 and couldn't get to sleep until then. It started up again and woke me shortly after 06:00. Poor signage for staircases. Not everyone uses the lifts, and stairs in this hotel were difficult to find.
